Starting Point

An exhibition at the British Museum in London exhibited works created by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. The showcases and cabinets were furnished with non-toxic and aesthetically appealing textiles so that the works of art are protected as well as possible and consequently aiding preservation for the next generations.

Solution

The decorative fabrics ULTRA V und UNISONO III serve as a solution; these were specifically tested for harmful substances, achieved excellent results in the “Oddy Test” and therefore display perfect compatibility for the preservation of works of art. Both fabrics are characterised by a highly aesthetic yet discreet look where the works of art are shown at their best.
